This is a generous definition of the North, which for these purposes is everything up to the Scottish border on the east coast north of Peterborough and on the west coast everything down as far as Cheshire. No correspondence will be entered (into).

Lincolnshire

In an attempt to find the Ship Inn in Gainsborough, which it transpires has changed into the Horse and Jockey and is not to be confused with the Ship Inn in Marton which has changed into the Ship Inn, we found the Eight Jolly Brewers in Ship Court round the back of Woolworth's. It looks good. It claims to be a genuine free house, and has a big Deuchars IPA poster hanging outside it. Going inside, the bar was covered in interesting-looking pump clips.
