Spring Tyne (Mordues) £1.60
Black Sheep

Catherine and Martin Kimber write:

A typically old, low-ceilinged heritagey pub but the fake beams and daub
are fooling no-one... It was crowded with locals on a weekday lunchtime.
They have a big TV for football matches but it was off in the day. Some
people were playing dominoes. Apart from the barmaid, Catherine was the
only woman in the Bar. The Snug appeared to be empty.

Sadly, the Spring Tyne was badly faded - it had just been kept too long.
Normally, they have Black Sheep on their one handpump. (14.iv.2000)
