The Maltings
Bateman's Mild £1.75
Easingwold Station Porter £1.90 (20.xii.1998)

The above is merely a tiny fraction of the range of cask ales (about
seven, all of which except Black Sheep Best are regularly rotated guests),
the two gravity-fed ciders (of which the red Ruby Tuesday is particularly
memorable), one gravity-fed perry, and the Framboezen and Leffe which are
on tap also.

This is possibly the best pub I've been to ever, and conveniently near the
railway station. Warm, atmospheric (rather than having things stuck to
the ceiling, the ceiling is actually made of doors, and some of the
seating is a varnished-over toilet), a range of drinkables such as you
wouldn't believe. The range on offer of fruit wines includes parsnip.
