It is a huge, cavernous building with a balcony all round the top for sitting
on and Begbie impersonations. This is carpeted, but the ground floor is
parqueted. Huge sump it is for people to watch, say, the England--Albania
football match.

There is also food available.

They used to do Moo, which was made in New Yatt near Witney, but not any more.
The beer on cask is Greene King IPA, Abbot, Old Speckled Hen and Bass. I can't
remember the new prices, so I'll leave the old ones up for the moment.
Neither the Abbot nor the OSH were too bad. Huge fridges behind the bar full
of alcopops shoulder to shoulder.

I wouldn't like to be in here halfway through Friday evening, but it seems to
do pretty well out of people eating in the daytime. Hmm. (28.iii.2001)

Appears in Kate Pugh's Vegan Oxford.
