Ruddles Best £1.90 (16.i.1999)

This, the last one we went to in Eynsham, was one of the best. They had a
placard outside saying "CASK MARQUE", so I had no compunctions about
asking for three pints of Ruddles Best with the sparkler off and for a top
up for the one that came noticeably short.

Candles on the tables. It looked like the sort of place that was aspiring
to be a country restaurant without actually doing any food.

Three good pints of Ruddles Best. The other bitter was Charles Well's
Bombardier, which isn't as good. They also had Jonathan Crisp crisps,
which are meant to be really good.
