The Carfax Catalogue: Pubs in Oxfordshire

Introduction

This collection of pub reviews has been maintained since the end of September 1997, first on the web service kindly provided by the University of Oxford, and now on mythic-beasts. My aim is for as complete as possible coverage of existing and past pubs in Oxfordshire. There are over 357 reviews, which is more than half of the county's estimated 1997 pub stock of six hundred (beware, though, since some of the separate files are for the same pub under different names). List of acknowledgements (far too big to fit on this page).

All correspondence welcome.

The old scheme for dividing Oxford was huge and unnecessarily complicated. I have slimmed it.
