When I've XMLified this web site properly, there ought to be a link for
pubs near stations with plenty of place for your luggage. This is just
such a pub and a vast improvement on Scotrail's left luggage, which was
closed thanks to staff shortages, and Scottish Citylink's left luggage,
which shut at half five.

Not only is this a lifeline for overladen tourists waiting for the London
sleeper, it has beer from local breweries as well as the standard Deuchars
IPA from Caledonian and a decent range of single malts.

I say local. I suppose in the rest of the UK the Black Isle brewery and
the Cairngorm brewery, of whose Sheepshagger Ale Elaine said "It's a lot
subtler than you'd expect from the name" might count as local, but it's
stretching the definition a bit to count the Isle of Skye brewery.
