The Honey Pot (Greene King)
Hollybush Row, Oxford

Pontus Lurcock writes:
It's all very lounge. Low lighting, low furniture, low music, and low
attendance. I can't fathom why it's quite so empty, because it's very
handy for the station and there's nothing wrong with it. The beer is
the predictable Greene King stuff, though they do have 1.5 pint
glasses (it's a Greene King thing; I think they'll all be at it soon).
The staff are young and friendly and usually bored. At the back is a
long narrow garden filled with white gravel and white garden
furniture. If you were, say, out with a group of close friends on a
term-time Saturday night, and you just wanted to sit and drink and
speak in peace, this would be a strong contender.
