The Fox, Sandford-upon-Thames
Morrells

I really liked this place. It has two real ales on tap, a small range of
bottles behind the bar, and two log fires, which is pretty impressive for the
size of it, a tiny, cosy wee place, admittedly with a linoleum-tiled floor.
It was in the Good Beer Guide fifteen times in a row a while back (and may
well still be), though the range is limited.

The main problem with it is that if the guest beer is off, you're reduced to
Morrells Oxford, which is a fair enough session bitter, but not worth the
walk from central Oxford. No cider, oddly enough --- so far the only pub in
the area I've found which doesn't do it. (3.ix.1998)
