The Bell takes its name from the finest lychgate I've ever seen. Instead 
of mounting the single bell on the church, they mount it on a tower over 
the gate into the graveyard. Didn't hear it ringing though. The entrance 
is on the wall opposite the road. The one facing the churchyard doesn't 
work.

Inside they have Hook Norton Best, Generation and Haymaker. Haymaker is a 
pleasing strong light beer. They also have piles of cribbage boards, 
newspapers and a shelf covered in trophies. (25.vi.2000
